Stuart was a lover of storytelling. It was amazing that Stuart could keep you interested in a large assortment of topics. Stuart was a lover of horses. he often went to the track to enjoy watching his favorite hobby. On occasion, he might even come out a winner from his wagering ability. Stuart was a lover of NFL football. Of course, his favorite team was da Bears. Stuart was a lover of restaurants. He frequented numerous establishments so often the staff would know him by name. Stuart loved facts and figures. Even at his mature age, Stuart could still remember which year some events occurred. An athlete’s name ( and number ) from decades gone by. An original owner of a restaurant. Stuart seemed to have the uncanny ability to remember things most people would have long forgotten. Stuart was a lover of his family. He was proud of his family. He enjoyed telling his friends about his loved ones. Stuart loved his country. He was patriotic. He was opinionated. He was a friend. He was a buddy. He will be missed!

We will surely miss our good friend Stu. I met Stu through my father as part of the Friday morning coffee club at Panera Bread. I really enjoyed our conversations. A good friend of my fathers. Enjoyed being with Stu, he always had some great stories of the good old days. I learned much about shrimp and horse racing. After my father passed, Stu asked if we could still meet. I said of course, it was all my pleasure to enjoy a cup of joe with a good friend. We since lost a few of the fellas and added a few to our Friday morning club. Stu always spoke about his family with admiration. I know he loved you all. I remember a few years back I shared with Stu, that as the oldest family member he was the patriarch. He really liked that. We will toast Stu this Friday at Panera bread with a hot bagel or a cinnamon roll and strong cup of coffee. May God comfort you among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
